Obesity among children is caused by the administration of wrong kinds of weight lose program. Parents out of fear of losing their children to obesity do all sorts of things just to prevent child obesity attacking their child.   • Clearly map out eating area in your house: clearly mapping eating areas will help your children avoid the temptation of indiscriminate eating. This is part of the overall discipline that our children need to live a healthy and fulfilled life.
  • Feed your children when they are hungry: feeding your children well when they are hungry will make them not to be attracted to all sorts of junk foods that flies around us on a daily basis. Children are prone to the temptation of eating anything that they come across when they are hungry. So, endeavour to feed them well when they are hungry if you really want to control obesity in children.
  • Seriously reduce the intake of beverages: too much intake of beverages is a sure ticket to obesity among children. Many beverages that are in circulation now contain unhealthy level of unsaturated sugar.
  • Engage your children in a well structured exercise program: children by nature love to play. So, parents should leverage on this and make their children develop the habit of regularly exercising.
