WEIGHT LOSE |THE ROLE OF MOTIVATION AND SELF ASSURANCE

Weight lose is a process just like all that we do in life. Before we can achieve any meaningful success in life, we have the right kind of motivation and self assurance required to excel in our endeavours. What makes life interesting is the presence of ups and downs that we all have to overcome on our way to our promise.

Everything in life has its own advantages and disadvantages. What matters is our ability to handle the challenges that comes with the disadvantages of whatever we have. Weight gain has its own challenges that need to be managed or else, face the consequences of not managing it. In this article, you will get all the necessary motivation to fight the humiliation that comes with too much weight.

I have the opportunity to counsel people who were overweight but found the motivation to manage it and come out victorious at the end. One thing I found that is common to them all is “low self-esteem and inferiority complex”. What these deadly anti-human factors do to them is; throw them to their bed and make them gain more weight. Instead of actively looking for a means of handling the challenge of overweight, they go to their bed in shame and agony. Below are the tips on how to use motivation to lose that weight of yours and become the charming, beautiful and loving person that you once were.

HAVE A STRONG DESIRE TO LOSE WEIGHT:

Merely wishing to lose weight will not give you the push to go into calculated action that will give the result you expected. Rather than wish all day long, let motivation transform that your wish into desire to lose weight. Let your goal of looking the way you want ignite that passion in you that will motivate you to strongly desire weight loss. You have got to strongly desire a thing before you can get it. By desiring, you will naturally awaken that sleeping giant in you.

BELIEVING IN YOU:

Many people have failed in ventures that they would have ordinarily prospered in if they believed in themselves. Believing in one self in not what anybody can do for you. You need to talk to yourself positively to do things you feel you cannot do – including weight loss. There is technique called self-talk that you can positively employ here. It is very simple: wake up every morning, walk straight to the mirror and reaffirm to yourself that you have got all it takes to lose that weight. The benefit of doing this is that you will subconsciously release burning motivation that has all the while been hidden in you.

SOCIALISING:

Social activities have been identified by various research and studies to be a better form of exercise that the basic programmed forms of exercise. That is why many work-out centres around now incorporate some kind of social activities into their rigorous weight losing plan.

I remember while I was doing my Youth Service (NYSC) in Gombe State of Nigeria, there is this we call “BIGGY”. Am sure he will weigh up to 340 pounces as at the time we started camping. But before we finished our 21 days camping, “BIGGY” am still sure lost nothing less than 60 pounces. He achieved this by simply participating in all the social activities in camp. One day I had I chat with him and I discovered he wasn’t partaking in all those activities because he enjoyed them, because he so much desired weight loss and he got it.

Do whatever you are doing with a joyful heart. For example, fasting to lose weight can be effective and healthy if you do it in the right way.

Do not imprison yourself just because you weigh more than necessary, this will only compound your problem. Take charge of that situation now and take action. I will see you at the next successful personal weight managers conference.

Never allow what people around you say or will say put you down. Take all that they say as a compliment that will all work together to bring out that real you which is very vital in attaining your goal. The tips in this article can still work in tackling child obesity.
